The young guard.

--In noticing yesterday the proposed reorganization of the Young Guard for the war, we stated that it wanted 80 men to render it an effective corps. An ardent and tried friend of the gallant corps assures us we put the figures too high. Thirty more men will enable it to go through the present war with credit to itself and honor to the country. We hope the company will not long want them, and it will not if the glorious recollections that cluster around the names of the gallant boys who compose the company are not too soon forgotten.
