--In consequence of the election yesterday the Mayor held no court. There was but one prisoner in the cage yesterday--one Louisa Jenkins, a free negress, arrested about about 10½ o'clock on Tuesday night, for stealing $100 worth of wearing apparel from Capt. John Thompson. It is presumed that the accused will be brought to condign this morning, at the usual hour.
