Ranaway--$100 reward
--From Sharewood, (the late residence of
Roger B. Atkinson, dec'd, in
Lunenburg County, Va.,) on Sunday, the 20th of April, 1862. a Negro named Arch, between 17 and 18 years of age, about 5 feet 4 inches high, of black color, and pleasant countenance.--He went off dressed in drab fulled linsey
frock coat, vest, and pants, black slouch hat, and coarse boots worn through the winter.
He and other salves were removed from the county of
Loudoun to
Sherwood early in March last, and Arch was doubtless on his way back to that county.
He was at Hanover C. H. In company, however, with two other negroes and two white man. (the two white men charged with felony,) all confined in the same room, Arch escaped from jail about the first day of this month.
One hundred dollars will be paid by me for the apprehension and delivery of said Negro in some jail so that I get him again, besides all reasonable expenses.
My address is Non-Intervention P. O. Luneburg county, Va.
