Wet weather.

--A steady stream of water poured down from the clouds during all of Tuesday night. The shrubbery and small undergrowth was nearly all beaten down and the ground thoroughly impregnated with the aqueous distillation. Important military movements were said to be on foot yesterday, yet the rain-god continued his watery contributions in utter disregard of the feelings, wishes, interest or opinion of our noble boys, who were exposed to all the inclemency of the weather as they stood confronting and withstanding the machinations of an unscrupulous foe.
