Contributions for the Wounded.

We are requested b P. W. Johns, Medical Purveyor C. S. A., to inform all who may desire to make contributions for the benefit of sick and wounded soldiers of the army, that an act of Congress has established an office expressly for the reception and distribution of such contributions, under the direction of the Surgeon General, who has placed the clerk appointed for the purpose under his instructions.

It is requested, therefore, that all contributions for sick and wounded soldiers in the Hospitals be sent for distribution to No. 11, Pearl street, addressed to H. S. Banks, contribution clerk, who will receipt for the same.
