A good Hit.

--A small boy in Fredericksburg was asked by a Yankee soldier where all the pretty girls were. He replied. ‘"In the house, they won't let Yankees see them"’ The Yankee asked if he had a sister. ‘"Yes."’ ‘"Was she pretty,"’ ‘ "Yes."’ ‘"What is her named"’ ‘"Her name is Manassas, and she lives at Bail Run,"’ replied the brave and smart little clizp.
