--The sum of $32.30, contributed by the little girls of Canal street, has been handed over to the agents of the Young Men's Christian Association, to be applied for the benefit of the sick and wounded soldiers in our midst. We understand that very nearly one thousand dollars has been contributed by the little misses of this city, the amount being the proceeds of various fairs held by them. All such sums may be considered the offering of purity to patriotism.
