It is stated that at least fifty soldiers of General Jackson's army, who were believed to be in the hands of the enemy, have joined the army within the past day or two. A number of absentees without leave have also reported themselves. Three escaped prisoners from Camp Douglas, taken at Fort Donelson, have likewise joined that corps of our army.

Advices from Pendleton state that there is an organized company of Unionists in that county, commanded by a man named Bond, who are in the habit of setting as spies on the movements of loyal citizens of their neighborhood, some of whom have been arrested by the Yankees at Petersburg.
