--The gentry, especially those who have been employed in business in the vicinity of Maiden Lane for some time past, are suffering severely, now from disconsolation. The last of their number in a business point of view, became yesterday. Special Officer Well, who has had the matter of breaking up the mock auction shares of these fellows, has succeeded in making them shut up shop.--V. Y. Cort. d.
