Reported naval engagement.

The Nassau (N. P.) papers, of the 13th. agree in stating that a naval engagement had occurred near there, but disagree as to the names of the vessels engaged. The Advertiser says that the Confederate steamship Aristo had attacked the Federal gunboats Cuyler and Santiago de Cuba, and disabled the latter so badly that she had to be towed into port by another Federal war vessel. The Cuyler also received very heavy blows, the Oreta coming off unhurt. A letter from Key West says: ‘"The C. S. steamer Florida is reported to have had a battle with two gunboats, but they did not take her.--They had to runaway and leave her. The gunboat Santiago de Cuba she knocked into a cocked hat. --The Cuyler had to tow her in."’
