A Noble Appropriation.

We take the opportunity to record an act most honorable to Georgia. The House bill appropriating $200,000 for the use of the Georgia Hospital and Relief Association was amended by increasing the amount to $400,000, and then passed. The sum of $150,000 had previously been appropriated to the same meritorious cause — making five hundred and fifty thousand in all. No one will deny that Georgia takes care of her soldiers. The bill provides that wayside hospitals shall be established at Knoxville, Tenn, Dalton, Rome, Kinston, Atlanta, Athens, Savannah, and such other places as the Association may direct.
