Fight at Lavergne, Tenn.--Execution of a spy.

Chattanooga, Dec. 27.
--Passengers by this evening's train report that fighting has commenced at Lavergne, half way between Murfreesboro and Nashville. There was skirmishing along the lines since yesterday.

The Rebel of this morning reports that one forces were driven back a few miles yesterday, but were immediately reinforced with orders to recover their original position.

A man named Gray was hung yesterday, at Murfreesboro., as a spy. Another was shot at the same time for desertion.
