Real estate.

--The sales of real estate in the city during the following years foot up as follows: In 1859 to $518,347; in 1860 to $540,816; in 1861 to $124,780; in 1862 to $2,279,415. The falling off in 1861 is explained by a state of active hostilities, and the increase last year by a redundant amount of money.
