George, W. Summers and the Yankees.

The latest advices we have from the country represent that George W. Ed was preparing to give a dinner parts to the Yankee General Cox and his staff. It will be recollected that during the occupancy of Charleston by the enemy last summer Mr. Summers took the oath of allegiance, with a view to obtain license under the Pierpoint Government to continue the practice of law in Western Virginia. After the place fell into the hands of our troops he was arrested and took the oath of allegiance to the Confederate Government. The Yankees having again obtained possession of that country, Mr. Summers seeks to them by feasting the commanding General of Lincoln's my.
