The pay of Confederate officers.

--Lieutenants of Infantry, second and third, receive $80 per month; First Lieutenants, $90; Captains, $130; Majors, $150; Lieutenant-Colonels, $180; Colonels, $210; Generals of Division or Brigade, $301.--Officers are not allowed to draw rations. The pay of officers of Artillery is, for Lieutenants and Captains the same as in Infantry; for Majors $152 per month; for Lieutenant-Colonels $185; for Colonels, $210. In the Cavalry service, Second Lieutenants receive $90 per month; First Lieutenants, $100; Captains, $140; Majors, $161; Lieutenant-Colonels, $185; Colonels, $210.
