--By the following paragraph, from the Vicksburg Whig of the 7th, it appears that justice has overtaken some of these traitors:

Three of the Fort Jackson mutineers were shot here yesterday. Their names were: Sergeant W. H. Brown, Company D. 1st regiment Louisiana Heavy Artillery, and Dennis Kean and Thomas Graham, of Company B, same regiment. These men mutinied at Fort Jackson on the night of the 27th of April last, and went over to the enemy's vessels, giving them, of course, information as to our strength, condition, &c. At the fight on bayondes Allemands, some time afterwards, they were taken prisoners and brought here to be exchanged as members of a Vermont regiment. They were immediately recognized by the regiment to which they originally belonged, and lodged in jail. Their fate, though hard, was nevertheless just, and we trust it will have a salutary effect throughout our army here.
