Returned Home

--Amongst the soldiers recently returned to Richmond under flag of truce by the Yankees, are Capt. John S. Stevenson, 3d Artillery P. V. commanding heavy batteries around Suffolk, and Surgeon D W. Hand, Medical Director of Peck's corps.--These two officers were captured in sight of their lines while returning from Carrsville, near Suffolk. They arrived on Tuesday night. Last Friday, private J. Archer Via, of co H, 1st Regiment Va Vols., returned to Richmond via City Point, having been captured while our forces were evacuating Suffolk, and carried to Fortress Monroe, thence to Fort Norfolk. He was treated kindly. Mike Corcoran led the troops that took him prisoner.
