Heavy robbery in the Treasury Department.

--On Monday afternoon, after most of the clerks in the packing room of the Treasury Department had left, it was discovered that a package of one hundred dollar notes was missing, amounting to $10,000. In the room where the robbery was committed there are some fifteen clerks employed only, besides one or two negroes, who work at the cutting machine. We have not learned that suspicion rests upon any of these employees. The notes were all signed and numbered, and ready for circulation. The matter is now in the hands of the detectives of the department, who will, no doubt, merit it out.
