Fuel is to be an important item the approaching winter, and promises to sell exceedingly high. Coal is now bringing from 75 cts. to $1 per bushel, and wood is proportionately high. Unless the canal and railroads furnish supplies during the summer, the poorer classes will find difficulty in getting coal or wood when winter sets in.
