--Philotus Norton, a middle aged man, was called to the bar by the Mayor to answer the charge of stealing a $20 Confederate note, the property of Christopher Mitchell, an invalid in one of the hospitals. Mitchell had placed his money under his pillow, from which place it was stolen. As he was too much indisposed to attend Court, the accused was remanded for a future hearing.
