Sent away for trial

--McCoul, the Federal soldier who ravished a young lady in Matthews county, Va., was sent to Hanover Junction on Monday for trial by Military Court Martial. He was seated in the cars with a chain and 24 pound ball on his leg, and his face showed the agony he felt at meeting his fate, about which there is very little uncertainty Death by hanging is the penalty of his heinous crime.
