The commissioners under the impressment act, in the Mississippi, have fixed the price of sugar at $2.50 a gallon. Major-General Patrick Cleburne, of the Confederate army, entered the war as a private in the ranks. He is an Irishman. Col. O. E. Edwards, of the 13th S. C. Vols., died at Goldsboro', N. C., on Sunday, from wounds received at Chancellorsville. Col. A. M. Scales, of the 13th North Carolina volunteers, has be an promoted to Brigadier- General. They are in Georgia.
