The report of Yankees at White House.

--The rumor of Yankees at the White House was again aired in the city yesterday. It was caused by the return of the train on the York River Railroad at an hour earlier than usual, the conductor having been erroneously informed at Summit Station that the enemy had appeared at Piping Tree Ferry. His information was obtained from the agent at Tunstall's, who was so informed by parties still lower down the road. An investigation of the matter proved the report unfounded, and the train went out again in the afternoon.
