Wholesale stealing.

--William, Henry, and Lewis, three servants employed at Hospital No. 4. were before the Mayor yesterday to answer for stealing sundry pieces of bed clothing and other articles of the Confederate Government. Our searching the ledging-rooms of the prisoners the officers found four blankets, three sheets, two bed spreads, three pairs of pants, and six bags, stolen from the Government, twenty-three spoons, one fork, one towel, and one table, stolen from John F. Batheal; six shirts; one coat, one handkerchief, and two pairs of socks, belonging, to Richard Jennings, and a set of spoons blacked St. Charles Hotel. Henry and Lewis were punished for the St. Charles spoons, and all three were sent on fear stealing from the Government.
