Promptness is essential in all the business relations of life, but especially so when he has reason to appear at Court. The Judges and the Mayor fix hours for the transaction of business, and, to avoid delays, require all who appear before them to be in place at that hour or in our punishment.--Those who give bond to appear before the Mayor would do well to remember this fact, and thus prevent forfeitures and heavy costs.
