--The fifteen recently elected city Aldermen met in the city Hall on Saturday at 12 o'clock M., when the customary oaths of office were administered them by the Mayor, who was in turn sworn in by Recorder Caskie. Mr. Caskie was unanimously re-elected Recorder for the ensuing year. After three ballots Mr. John F. Regnault was elected Senior Alderman, he receiving eight votes, Mr. Taylor five, and Mr. Sanxay two.
