Damages from the storm.

--On Monday afternoon one of the heaviest storms of wind, hall, and rain prevailed in this city which has been felt for a number of years. It continued to rage for over an hour, during which time trees were uprooted, roofs of houses carried off, chimneys blown down, window shutters unhinged, and a large amount of injury sustained otherwise.--While at its height a greater part of the roof covering the German Lutheran Church, on 5th street, north of Leigh, was blown away, and lodging against the residence of Rev. W. J. Pettigrew, carried off a chimney attached to that building. The gable end of Mr. Richard Reins's residence, on the corner of 2d and Main streets, was also partly blown down. No loss of life has yet been reported.
