A London Paper says that a pneumatic tube is now in operation between a railroad, and the post offices, and that for more than a year, without a single break accident, the have been conveyed between the two points, at the rate of thirty miles an hour. But this is only a small affair, and the capitalists are besieging the Government to allow them to construct lines passengers and other traffic it rough all parts of the city. The same paper gives an estimate, that by this new method of locomotion a speed of six miles a minute may very reasonably be obtained.
