A desperate fight between two brothers.

--Patrick and Jacob Hinson, two brothers, living alone in an old shanty near the Central Railroad workshops, got into a pugilistic encounter about eight o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, and so furious was the contest that before they could be separated both of them were seriously injured. Patrick's left arm was broken by a blow from an axe helve, and one of Jacob's eyes was gouged in such a manner as to cause it to protrude from the socket. The physician attending them thinks the ball of Jacob's eye is so much injured that he will lose his sight. They were under the influence of whiskey at the time.
