Expelled from the Market.

--Before the adjournment of the City Council on Monday afternoon a resolution was offered and adopted expelling Mr. John P. Sledd from the butchering business in the Second Market. Time was given him until the 15th inst. to dispose of his stock in trade on hand, Mr. Glazebrook, a member from Monroe Ward, was the author of the resolution, and based the grounds of his action upon Sledd's purchase of a hog from a country part at the market about two months since, which he afterwards offered for sale at his stall.
