Confederate States District court.

--In this court yesterday, the argument in the case of William Barrett vs. A. P. Wood, motion for an injunction was continued by Mr. Howard for petitioner and Mr. Sands for the Government.

William W. Mills, a practicing physician, applied for the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus, and the same was continued to Monday and petitioner admitted to bail.

[Note.--In the report of this court yesterday we stated that W. T. Bailey was indicted for obtaining money under false pretences. The charge, according to the indictment, should have been forgery of passports in four cases and aiding deserter to escape in one case.]
