Charged with stealing.

--A lad named George Childress, charged with entering the house of John Kennedy and stealing a pocket-book containing about fifty dollars in money, was locked up in the lower station-house last night. While Mrs. Kennedy was up stairs waiting upon her sick husband, Childress entered the house and committed the theft. The pocket-book and contents were found upon his person.
