Going to the enemy.

--Captain Joseph A. Hankins, commanding the Surry Light Artillery, stationed near Richmond, sent to this city, under guard, yesterday afternoon, the following parties, arrested for attempting to escape to the enemy: Privates Joseph A. Pittman, J. T. Little, William T. Bell, Hezekiah Dilk and Charles A. James. They were committed to the Castle to await trial by court-martial.
