--On Friday next, the sad spectacle of a death execution is to take place in the presence of the Army of Northern Virginia. Michael Brander, member of a Georgia regiment, tried and condemned for an aggravated case of murder, is to be hung on that occasion, according to a verdict of court-martial sitting in the matter. The unfortunate subject is now a prisoner in Castle Thunder, awaiting the day of execution, and seems perfectly reconciled to the fate which awaits him.
