Obituary of Mr. Dayton.

--The Paris correspondent of the Baltimore American gives us a piece of Yankee news about the death of Mr. Dayton. He says:

‘ "The first notice of the event which appeared in the Parisian press was in the France, a journal devoted to Confederate interests, and was from the pen of Mr. Slidell, couched in terms of deep regret and esteem."
