--Owing to certain groundless reports which have gained circulation in Richmond for the past few days, a large number of country people have been deterred from bringing their products to market, and, as a consequence, but little is offered at those places for sale. That further injury may not ensue from these rumors, we hereby contradict them upon the very highest official authority.
