Broke jail.

--On Saturday evening, five prisoners escaped from the Petersburg jail, and have not been yet recaptured. They were confined in the second story, and let themselves down into the court below by means of a rope. Having gained the yard, they found the inner gate open, passed through it, and made their final exit through the wall via a shell hole.
