Of the verdure of the meadows, the even rows of
trees and the beauty of the vineyards and olive
groves why should I speak at length? I will be
concise. Nothing can be more abounding in usefulness or more attractive in appearance than a well-tilled farm, and to its enjoyment old age not merely
offers no obstacle, but even entices and allures.
