A.rapid motion forwards, onrush, onset, assault,μόγις δέ μευ ἔκφυγεν ὁρμήνIl.9.355; ἐκ τοῦ αὐτοῦ χωρίου . ἔσται the attack, invasion, Hdt.1.11 ; “ ἐπὶ βασιλέα .X.An.3.1.10 ; also of an impulse received from another, “ἐμέ τ᾽ εἰσορόων καὶ ἐμὴν ποτιδέγμενος .Il.10.123, cf. Od.2.403.
