I.elegant in figure, mien and bearing, graceful, Plat.; comp. -έστερος; Sup. -έστατος, id=Plat., Xen.
2.in bad sense, with an outside show of goodness, specious, Eur.
II.of things, decent, becoming, id=Eur., etc.; τὸ εὔσχημον, Lat. decorum, Plat.:—adv. -μόνως, with grace and dignity, like a gentleman, Ar., Xen.
III.noble, honourable, in rank, NTest.
