Dolŏpes

Δόλοπες). A powerful people in Thessaly, who dwelt on the Enipeus and fought before Troy. At a later time they dwelt at the foot of Mount Pindus; and their country, called Dolopia, was reckoned part of Epirus (Herod.vii. 132).
