Nasidius
Quintus (Lucius?). A Roman sent by Pompey in B.C. 49 with a squadron
to relieve Massilia (Marseilles) when besieged by Decimus Brutus. Brutus routed him, and he
fled to Africa, where he continued to serve Pompey as a naval commander, and afterwards Sex.
Pompey in Sicily. In the contest of Antony with Octavianus, he sided with the former (
