COLI

Eth. COLI (Eth. Κῶλοι), a people of the Caucasus, in the north of Colchis, inhabiting a district called after them, Κωλική. The northern part of the Caucasus was also called Κωλικὰ ὄπη. (Steph. B. sub voce Κῶλοι; Scylax, p. 31, where Κωλική should be read for Κωρική; Plin. Nat. 6.5. s. 5; Mela, 1.19.)
