The action of the aorist participle is ordinarily prior, but it may be coincident, so especially when the leading verb is aorist or future. “ἀναβάντες εἰς τὸ ὑπερῷον ἐδειπνοῦμεν,” LYS. 1.22 ; Going up to the second story, we supped. “τὸ σῶμα σώσας τοὺς λόγους σώσεις ἐμοί,” EUR.
