A'rrius

2. Q. Arrius, a son of the preceding, was an unsuccessful candidate for the consulship, B. C. 59. (Cic. Att. 2.5, 7.) He was an intimate friend of Cicero (in Vatin. 12, pro Mil. 17); but Cicero during his exile complains bitterly of the conduct of Arrius. (Ad Qu. fr. 1.3.)
