Fu'rius

4. M. Furius, defended M. Valerius in the senate from the charges which the Macedonian ambassadors brought against him, B. C. 201. (Liv. 30.42.) He seems to be the same as the M. Furius who in B. C. 200 served as legate under L. Furius [No. 5] in the war against the Gauls. (Liv. 31.21.)
