Colonel Donald, of Leake county, Mississippi, recently gave a novel party to the young people of his neighborhood.
The ticket sent to each young lady, required that she should come dressed in Mississippi manufactured apparel, in the manufacture of which she must in some way assist.
The young gentlemen were also required to dress in the manufacture of Mississippi, made in Leake and Attala.
There were nearly one hundred persons of both sexes in attendance, all attired as directed.
The scene was not brilliant, but the papers say it was patriotic.--Evening Post, March 29.
