Hallowell, Richard Price 1835-

Author; born in Philadelphia, Pa., Dec. 16, 1835; removed to Massachusetts in 1859; was identified with the abolition movement; aided the formation of negro regiments during the Civil War. He is the author of The Quaker invasion of Massachusetts, and The pioneer Quakers.
