Wrangel, Charles Magnus von 1730-1786

Clergyman; born in Sweden about 1730; educated at the University of Upsala; ordained Court preacher to the King of Sweden; settled in Philadelphia in 1759, and took charge of all the Swedish Lutheran bodies in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. After nine years of faithful and successful work he returned to Sweden. He died in Sala, Sweden, in 1786.
