Goldsborough, Wayne County, North Carolina

a town of 3,000 pop., on Neuse River and the Wilmington & Weldon Railroad, 84 miles from Wilmington. The Atlantic & N. C. Railroad terminates here; also the Eastern terminus of the North Carolina Central Railroad. One of the most important trade centers in the state.
